Young Europe Orchestra is a multi-national orchestra which will have musicians from different Balkan Countries involved in the project.
The repertoire of the orchestra will consist of the music of the countries involved in the project, sheding light on cultural closeness as well as geographical closeness between them. Mainly the works of genuine composers and arrangers from these countries will be performed. Traditional/ethnic instruments will also be employed, accompanied by symphonic instruments.
The orchestra will be a standard double symphony orchestra with the addition of ethnic instruments:
2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 bassoons, 4 horns, 2 trumpets, 3 trombones, 1 tuba, a piano or an accordion, drums and percussions, 1 amplified bass, 10 first violins, 10 second violins, 5 violas, 5 cellos, 3 contrabasses, 1 Bulgarian pipe, 1 Macedonian zurna or clarion, 1 Romanian pan flute, 1 ney (Turkish flüte), 1 kanun (Turkish zither), 2 Greek bouzoukis.
The Orchestra will tour from Balkans to the Eastern Turkey
